A remedy for Cipralex induced sedation

Posted by Niltiac on March 26, 2009, at 16:43:16

Hi,

I've been on Cipralex (10mg) for almost a year now to help anxiety and I can't seem to get over the tiredness it's causing me. I've tried Wellbutrin (along with the Cipralex) several different times now and although it does help, the multitude and intensity of side effects I experience are unbearable. I'm getting sick of being so tired all the time and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

I am quite an active person, I exercise regularly and eat very healthy, so I can't think of any major lifestyle changes I could make. I have a feeling my daytime tiredness may be due to poor sleeping at night, therefore, I've tried taking Melatonin (6-9mg), but it didn't seem to help. Should I take more?

Thank you,
Niltiac
