Well hate to say this but my pdoc kind of said the same thing. In a way meds help you through a difficult time if you believe they will work. Believe is the key word. I do know what you mean. Both my Daughter and Son and ex-husband were on ad's for short period of time and successfully stopped them. They just didn't need them. Now it's about four years later both are med free. But that is them. I seem to not need as many benzos. Wierd as thought they were so addictive? A year ago was on 3mg lunesta, 20mg valium and xanax for sleep. Now down to l0mg of valium and .5 of xanax. No weaning. Don't get it? Strange? The Luvox upped to 75mg which is nothing and no side effects. Actually I feel all these meds pooped out on me years ago as still anxious. I play pretend and ride my bike like the postman at night. Wind, rain, or snow it's my ad and antianxiety med.But this is just me. We are are different. Love Phillipa. Courtney I'm sorry I've forgotten Your reasons for meds the symtoms you would like to leave.
