Seroquel, being not saracastic, it does calm the mind, suppresses chemicals out of order that cause "over-heating".
It's more just for throughts, and sleep. Benzodiapines are also helpful, and that needs to be known, but they just cause "a feeling of ease". That's why, there controlled.
Clonazepam actually is worse than Seroquel, i dont know why, but it makes life incredibly depressing, from my view.
Seroquel blocks dopamine and serotonin at sites, which cause equlibrium, in some people for a while. Others, Lithium (which has been around since the elements of the earth where here) has good effects, on mood disorders. Only problem, you have to get a blood test, monthly, and ugh...yuk!
Seroquel 100-200mg is "effective" for sleep, no doubt at all. But it just makes you feel "throazined" out. Which, is unplesant, yet you still get good sleep.
Day time use, it actually can "impair" thinking. And makes you feel "lousy".
Lycria..? have you considered?
take care
