Hi Jade.
You damned well better not be going anywhere, Jade! Are you leaving us?
> Your like a Doctor. Is that what you go to school for? A Psych Doc I hope? My gosh! You'd never need another patient!! I don't know why I don't know this. Please do tell. Now I'm dying of curiosity. I'm thinking of going back also but just for masters.
I am interested in just about anything that exists, along with that which does not. Biology is one of my biggest interests.
It was my passionate desire to become a clinical medical doctor. I considered it a calling. I wanted to heal people. I knew that I would be good at it. The severity and chronicity of my affective illness ripped this dream away from me. My doctors told me that even if they were able to find a treatment that worked to have me emerge out of depresion, the stressful demands placed on the system by the schooling and internship would probably cause me to relapse. I mourned and grieved. I was 32 at the time. I don't like to let the thought of going back to school for medicine enter my head. I am considering very seriously returning to school to restart a biology curriculum. If I end up anywhere in medicine, it would perhaps be as a Ph.D. in an investigational setting.
There's more, but that's enough for now.
> PS-I was wondering do you also get that little bit of tourettes every now and then with your Parnate?
With Parnate, one can experience occasional myclonic jerks, especially just as one falls asleep. There is also hyperreflexia that can look like myoclonic jerks.
What exactly are you experiencing? Do you vocalize? Do you have tics? Where?
