Perhaps a silly question here but I can't justify this one way or the other...this is mostly a curiousity to me but I'm wondering if it has any merit...so for a chemist/pharmacologist..does it matter the temperature that a med is stored (within reason here) for it to retain its efficacy/prevent breakdown? I ask because I've heard the australians mentioning better longterm response to nardil as compared to north america. I've noted that north american monographs of nardil state to keep the med at room temp, from 15 to 30C (http://www.erfa-sa.com/Nardil/english/mono_en.html) yet the australian monograph of the same chemical states store between 2 to 8C (http://www.linkpharma.com.au/util/doc.jsp?i=570&f=blob7&c=20). Also I note my med refill feels different after 3 weeks of my 1 month bottle stored at room temp...individual variation in pills? personal physiology? or breakdown (perhaps by temp?). I'd love to get some answers for this from those in the know about chemical storage...I'd like to try storage in the fridge with my canadian nardil and see what happens.
