I agree with SLS - you need to give it a chance of at least a few weeks. As you're probably aware, taking antidepressants is always the hardest at the start. Unpleasant side effects with no apparent beneficial action from the drug. After a week or two, some of the side effects start to go and (hopefully) the depression/anxiety etc begins to diminish.

I had a slight 'weak' feeling when I started Amitriptyline - it gradually lessened over the following week or so.

Clomipramine is supposed to be a very good drug for phobias/OCD; however, it also possesses anticholinergic properties which can make the side effects a little troublesome. I believe Lofepramine has a weaker anticholinergic profile; however, it's not as good for phobias/OCD.

My psychiatrist claims that Luvox isn't as good as the other SSRIs but that really is his own opinion. I've read on here that people have done well with it.
