Hi all. I haven't been on this site in ages. I still see some familiar names. I hope all is well, and you are helping all the newbies to the wonderful world of meds. Lol.
I have a question from a friend. He has sexual dysfunction (both getting aroused and becoming hard enough to even ejeculate) due to his medications. He has now reduced his Celexa from 40mg to 20mg daily (with the intention of quitting it), stopped Zopiclone altogether, has begun Wellbutrin at the lowest dose (to help with the sexual dysfunction), and is still taking Remeron at 60mg nightly (although he would like to reduce or quit this med later down the road).
He has been given two new prescriptions: Viagra 100mg and Cialis 20mg. These are not to be used at the same time, but rather to try each one and see which works better for him.
His question: How soon should the Celexa be low enough in his system, and the Wellbutrin stable enough, that he could begin either the Viagra or Cialis with a good chance of it being effective? Since the ED meds are so expensive, he wants to wait to begin taking them once there is the chance that they WILL be effective rather than wasting a pill or two.
And can anyone describe their experiences with Viagra or Cialis, please? He is curious to know what to expect. Thanks so much!
