Very interesting.
In irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) which I have there is evidence of increased mast-cells in the guts. People with IBS often suffer from more anxiety in general than healthy persons. Would be very intersting to find out if mast-cells are increased in the brain due to this or if local mast-cells in the gut signals "high alert" and that signal makes the brain volnurable to anxiety + of course making the invoncience of having a ***** up stomach worse.
