This is quite serious for me as the alkalization generally allows me to take less opiate pain medication. Perhaps I will have to weigh out the pros and cons:-) I was looking forward to it helping some with the cognitive problems I have too.

I'd be careful with Namenda though, its not innocuous and can bring some people into the psychosis spectrum. Just monitor it if you want to take it, I had assumed there would be a suggestion for that.
