> There are many options for augmenting SSRIs like Zoloft. Wellbutrin is an option, although probably not the best choice if you also have anxiety as it can increase anxiety in some people. Another option would be a mood stabilizer such as Lamictal or Lithium. When you say "poop out," which symptoms are returning?

Every time I go up on the Zoloft, I feel better for about a week, then it starts to poop out. I know this is all pretty much a crapshoot, but has anyone had success augmenting Zoloft with other meds, or would anyone have any suggestions about what to try? Many, many thanks.

> Thanks. When I say the symptoms return after pooping out, I mean both the depression (primarily), and the anxiety both. I don't think the Zoloft has done much for the anxiety; I think it's primarily the depression it helps. A few meds other people have mentioned to try as augmentation agents are Strattera, Memantine, Pamelor, and Provigil.
