Yes, that's what I was hoping for. I took a little bit (1.25mg) a few days ago and it helped straight away. It felt good not to be hypervigilant and paranoid and angry all the time - so good that I'm finding it hard to stop taking it! I think Zyprexa is habit forming for me. I was hoping that Wellbutrin or Parnate might offset some of the sedation and suppress the appetite. I have bipolar disorder and some lingering psychotic symptoms, so I think it's something my pdoc might actually be enthusiastic about. They love prescribing Zyprexa, and though I hate to say it, it does feel pretty good. Even better than lorazepam. The cognitive side effects and weight gain bother me most, though I have a feeling my 'social intelligence' improves slightly when I'm not suspicious and angry at other people.
