> I have never tried a mood stabilizer, but i've read way too many posts saying that Lamictal causes anger and i see that it's one of the most popular meds of this kind.
> So, i wonder how it's possible for a mood stabilizer to cause anger and yet, to be considered as a good one. It sounds like an oxymoron to me.I haven't heard specifically about the anger thread, but your comment that "it is one one the most popular....." Well a medicine that is mentioned the most on the board by people who have a variety of different brain chemistries and conditions that are not exactly your own is going to naturally get more good and bad comments. Its the natural way things seem to be "rated" on the internet today --- oh I bought that new game player and it was a piece of crap like everyone said; no -- what is everyone saying, this thing is great.
Now I'm not being Pollyanna --- some people could be more sensitive, but remember medications that affect mood could stabilize, or could be deleterious. You just have to go through the list of them, and there is quite a list of them out there.-- tidings

and I hate to point out a boardmember, but Jeroen has been suffering from some form of schizophreniform spectrum disorder for some time and associates cause and affect with some medications which may or may not be true. Some of us have been trying to steer him to stick with his medications, but it is heartbreaking to see him in this state. Anyhow, I don't want to talk anymore about someone in the third person, but I thought I would brief you on that.
Jeroen, please feel better and realize that while you are trying to find people who are like you, not everyone responds the same.
