Hi Snowie,
> Oxytocin is a wonderful hormone. I haven't felt so much peace and harmony since I induced lactation a few years ago, which naturally increases oxytocin, and has greatly diminished my social anxiety.

Wow. Interesting! .. but I thought Prolactin was responsible for the lactation and Oxytocin was responsible for inducing labor. I'll google it someday. So I guess you would be willing to try Oxytocin for your social phobia ? I sure would be.
> Of course, inducing lactation to help with social anxiety probably isn't recommended for men

If it was it takes to get back my life, well guess what ? I'm ready ! ;) Most meds gives men "man boobs" in the long run anyway... so we may as well render them fully operative !! XD
> , and it wasn't the reason I induced lactation, but it sure has been a very pleasant side effect, and I recommend it to any woman suffering from social anxiety. It's also a very nice way for a woman to bond with her significant other. ;-)

Couldn't be more truthful since Oxytocins job is in great part about 'bounding' between humans. Especially between mother and child.
Thanks for sharing this!!
