I know exactely what you are talking about. that happened to me last night. took an ambien and it took about 2 hours to fall asleep. when I did fall asleep, it must have been a very light sleep. I woke up at 3am and didn't feel the least bit tired, I was wide awake and didn't feel like I had been to sleep. very vivid dreams on lamictal, some disturbing which I don't like
