the first two weeks or so I was on wellbutrin it was absolutely amazing. some of the best weeks of my life, easily. now it helps, sure, but nothing on that level. why is that? even when I stopped it and restarted it, I didn't feel that again, so my guess is that it isn't regular tolerance?
"Stop bupropion if you have a seizure and never take it again."
I found that on the fda's website, of all places. I did have a seizure once... no previous history of them. other circumstances contributed to it-- I took two doses too close together and hadn't slept for two days. is there any reason I really shouldn't take it anymore? do seizures have any long term effects? it was a little scary at first, but after that it wasn't that big of a deal.
I am also having trouble understanding why it's contraindicated with MAOI's. is it simply because MAOI's affect dopamine and so does wellbutrin? is it any more serious a contradiction than say, wellbutin and adderall?
