Both work very for well PLMD and RLS but clonazepam has worked that little bit better than valium for me. Mind you, I mean just a little. They are both good options. Valium isn't as heavy though. Dopamine Agonists such as mirapex and requip make me sick so I stopped before augmentation became a problem like so many people report. I'd try valium first and if that doesn't work then give klonopin a go.
