Sometimes you have to say to yourself that anything is possible when it comes to psychotropics. Are you "stressing" because you expect Nardil to start working right away, and it isn't? Earlier in my treatment history, I noticed a sort of energizing effect immediately after each dose. It was pleasant. However, the same biological event might cause you to feel agitated or anxious. You have to hope that this is more of a startup effect and not chronic. If you have only been on Nardil for a week or two, and the side effects are tolerable, I would suggest that you give it more time. Actually, I would expect that Nardil would start to mitigate the GAD before the depression due to its GABAergic enhancing properties.
I guess your decision should be based upon how long you have been taking Nardil, and at what dosage.
Good luck.
