Wellbutrin and Skin Colour Changes

Posted by James_Glasgow_UK on May 23, 2008, at 16:13:51

Hi

I was wondering if anyone here has had a change in skin colour that was proven or suspected to be due to Wellbutrin.

I have developed a few small blue-grey mark on my lips and there is a general change in the colour of my tongue with streaks that do not scrape off that are also blue-grey'ish.

Wellbutrin is the only drug that I have recently started and i dont take anything else that I can find is associate with these changes. I used to take minocycline for acne, however, it has been several months since I last took it, the problem has only just started and seems to be getting worse.

I have an appointment to see my GP next Friday in the hope he can shed some light on it.

I looked up the tongue colour changes that occur with addisons disease and it looks like that which is worrying me, as I cant find anything that says when it is treated the colour change goes away.

Any help at all would be much appreciated

Thanks

James
