my brightest idea now, just suddenly is amantadine, going to leave some stupid message on my doctor's answering machine on why he should prescribe it. i think i have officially given strattera a trial, i still have two more days of it, then i would have to pay for more, an action in and of itself that i would have to justify, whereas amantadine is likely either covered or generic.
justifications:
dopaminergic, has been used for EPS, frontal lobe syndrome, parkinsonism, add, association with decreased movement disorder sx as opposed to increased with stimulantsreservations:
-tolerance associated with dopaminergic route may provide 1 step forward 2 steps back scenario and make me regret ever taking it
-i have no idea the consequences of taking an antiviral drug when you don't need one, used to affect cell membranes or something in a way i don't understand
-anticholinergic (mildly?)
-people here have rarely been helped by it, and if so not for long
-then again, i may as well have brain damage not mental illness, i could be very different
i forget what else, just going to leave this messy, i'm never formal anyway.
