Hi,
Have you considered getting into therapy to help you deal with these issues. I tend to be self destructive, too. Like taking Provigil when I know it is going to make me feel better for 3-4 hours and then going to make me way more depressed. Why would anyone do such a thing?
It sounds like you are scared of all the changes in your life. New job, new girlfriend. I think it's normal to be scared. I don't know what to tell you to keep you from sabotaging yourself. But hang on and try your best to allow things time to settle down and work out.
