That's an incredibly rare reaction to a non-therapeutic dose, but everyone is different. So in both of your cases, apparently yes.

And yes, it goes away. And yes if you wanted to continue treatment with what is considered to be among the safest APs you would need to take anticholinergics or possibly propranolol.

Maybe Zyprexa for you would be a better choice.

Or Geodon or Abilify both of which gave me skin crawling akathisia.

Akathisia is a temporary phenomenon (yes, we can get into the unfortunate and rare cases of Tardive Akathisia with atypicals, I have an immensly rare case of Tardive Dystonia from Zyprexa) and just like pseudoparkinsonism will go away when you stop the medication. 25mg one time will be gone way before you receive this.

I hope you receive some better relief from another medication of doctor-patient choice.
