I've been following your posts for awhile and you have been getting some really great advice from people who care and want to support you..
One thing I've noticed is that you get extremely upset when you lose things. I don't have ADHD but I lose at least 3 pairs of mittens per winter..I have to write things on my hand cause I'll lose the note I wrote things on but I can't lose my hand..I lose toques, scarves, my med alert bracelet, earrings..you name it I've lost it..I even lost my mind once....(that's why my nick is
It's just part of my nature to be forgetful especially when I'm in a rush..so instead of being angry and exasperated at myself, I've learned to accept that's just the way I am and have learned to find some humour in it..
I rely heavily on a calendar to keep myself organized, even down to small things..and my hand is always covered in notes..now when I lose something I just swear and say crap, not again..shake it off, and go about my business..and sometimes I find what I've lost when i retrace my steps..if not, oh well..once in awhile I'm lucky and find a lost mitten pinned to the post office wall.
My wish for you is that you try to accept yourself just as you are..please try not to sweat the small stuff so much..you might find some peace within yourself..
