I kinda get the feeling your feelings might have been a little hurt by my post, which was certainly not my intention. I was very tired, and didn't take a lot of time to consider how my words might have come across to you.
If your feelings were hurt, I'm very sorry. It was not my intention to criticize you.
This is actually a pretty good illustration of one of the difficulties of the civility guidelines here -- intent is too hard to judge, so behavior is the only thing we have to go on. My intentions were good, I'm just not sure I managed to convey them very well.
