Parnate and Lamictal questions

Can Parnate, in addition to being a AD, have a paradoxical anti-mania effect?(50-60mg) If so, can you provide me documentation to show my pdoc?

Is it true that Lamictal (taken for hypomania; 300mg daily)may not have the AD effect that was once accepted as being true? Once again documentation source(s) would be appreciated.
