Well finally had to go to an Urgent Care cause the nurse at the doc's office that was filled insisited. So went to pick up meds and had an interesting talk with head pharmacist as I have a horrible sinus infection Tussi cough syrup was one the meds along with of course generic antibiotic. But get this the Tussi was over $79, Asked why no generic as I used to give it out so know it's not a new med been around a long time. She said the patent so far is l7 years old. She said they can not replicate a medium to create a generic. Same with premarin as they released a generic twice and had to recall as they cannot make a generic. And we talked about celexa and lexapro. She said they are similar meds but not the same so no wonder so many can't take the generic verions. Reminds me of what you all say of the MAOI's and the new versions. So what are the drug companies up to? Phillipa thought it interesting.
