Congratulations, if that's the appropriate word. The norepinephrine effect you refer to, does that aggravate anxiety by any chance? As I understand it, Effexor only affects norepine at higher dosages, beyond what I was on. I find it curious how when I've begun Lex/Celexa at normal starting dosages, I've had aggravated anxiety/insomnia for what I believe is an abnormal length of time(3 to 4 weeks), whereas on Effexor I hardly noticed anything. Don't these meds both have similar activity?
I'm torn between continuing with Celexa at this time, or dropping it for Effexor which I dumped about 8 months ago for some odd reason. I had gone down to about .125 mg's daily Klonopin with the Effexor, but felt a lack of confidence to continue. Perhaps that was the reason for dropping it. Maybe the lack of confidence was psychologically and not pharmacologically related.
