From my own experience, methylphenidate (Ritalin) is not dangerous to take with Nardil, although you have to be careful with amphetamines (or at least Adderall).
I've taken 10mg methylphenidate on Nardil (45 mg I think) and it did not feel awkward at all-- just like methylphenidate when I was on nothing else-- except a little less anxiety and maybe a little potentiated. However, when I've taken just a few milligrams of Adderall (broken pills into about quarters or thirds) while on Nardil (same dose), I always experienced this unpleasant dysphoric, tired malaise and physical discomfort-- and probably increased blood pressure. I never had a hypertensive crisis (&/or associate headache) from it, but i imagine i very well could have if i would have had a full pill of Adderall.
Bottom line, it should be completely safe to have the Methylin. However, i would be a little wary about the emotional effects of that if you're already feeling quite emotionally sensitive and depressed as it is. I could imagine a stimulant like that wrecking havoc on my emotions if i was in the middle of Nardil-withdrawal-type depression. The comedown might be unimaginable despair.
I could be wrong. It depends on you, and your depression, and your physiochemical makeup. But i think upping the Nardil bit by bit until you feel relieved would be a better solution than the stimulant. Good luck.
