I recenely had to go off Nardil for surgery. Once that was finished, my doc tried to change my meds to Effexor and Wellbutrin. I was in so much agony, I stopped after 4 weeks and told him I wanted to go back on Nardil. He agreed. In the meantime, he prescribed methylyn er to take for the severe depression, until the Nardil starts working.
I have take dexedrine with Nardil in the past to some good effect, but I am so afraid of taking Ritalin and Nardil.But, I don't think I can bare waiting however long it takes for the Nardil to wok. My Doc gave me Procardia to take in case of a hypertensive crisis, but I am still afraid. I am afraid of the pyschic pain AND of the combination. Can anyone help?
