CYP2D6 + CYPC19 Testing (Larry Hoover?)

Posted by johnj on October 10, 2007, at 18:53:50

I have been told that I am most likely a very poor metabolizer. The drugs I have tried are CYP2D6 so I was wondering if this means I am a poor metabolizer for CYPC19 too?

The reason I ask is because Celexa is a CYPC19 where as the other ssris I have tried are CYP2D6. I have very bad anxiety trying paxil (2 days) and luvox so they are out. I was wondering if there is hope for trying Celexa or Anafranil? Any thoughts out there? larry? Thanks
