I know weight gain is a big issue for many but I believe your mental health supercedes this. If you gain weight (depending how much, of course) it's better to have a life with some weight gain than no life at all. Am I not right? Look at Ugotta who lost weight on nardil when all signs pointed to him gaining weight. He took the risk and won.
You'll lose weight if you can go out and have a normal life. Weight gain is the outcome mostly of poor eating habits, not going out of the house and no exercise. The fact that you ride your bike every day tells me you really don't have to worry about weight gain and it's my opinion if you feel better, you will be more active and weight gain will not be an issue or a slight one, which is well worth it.
And I've gained myself, just from being depressed (and older, sorry this is true for me) but now I have the motivation to do something about. I feel most of the weight gain is from not feeling good enough to move and make good lifestyle choices for optimal health. One reason may be the condition is not fully responsive to the medication yet.
And I think you are someone that will be vigilant about your eating habits and exersize routines. So your goal has to be foremost...eradiacate the anxiety first, no matter what else happens. You will overcome any weight gain if it occurs just because you are so disciplined with routines.
