Risperdal is approx. 100 times more potent than seroquel. Risperdal is in same class of strength as Haldol.
Risperdal- most potent antipsychotic; zyprexa- mid range; and seroquel weakest antipsychotic

New ones: Geodon and Abilify.

Out of all the atypical antipsychotics is seroquel considered the worse? I am currently on 2mg of risperdal but am having to switch to seroquel because the pdoc doesn't have enough samples of risperdal to last for 3 months before my insurance prescription coverage becomes available, which is january 1st of 2008. The last time that I was on seroquel I titrated too quickly. My last pdoc told me to titrate 25mg every 30 minutes until I became sleepy. Odd enough as it sounds I did it anyway and experienced horrible side effects.
