It is true that Provigil is expensive so that's great that's it's covered and that you have the option.
I have taken both. For me, Provigil wins hands down. It works better for alertness and concentration for me and has fewer side effects. However, I'm having an issue with its lasting ability - I do well until about 2:00 pm on 400mg in the morning. Then I start to burn out. We're trying adding even more Provigil in the early afternoon (I'm skeptical about this, won't go into why here) and if that doesn't do it we may augment with...Concerta. So, perhaps using both works best sometimes. But I would give Provigil a try.
