Denise-

I had the same problem with Buspar and an SSRI. Pdoc told me to "space out the medications" in order to avoid the tiredness. This means that you should give your body the maximum of time between Lex and Buspar as possible. I take my buspar at 7AM, 2 PM and 9PM. The morning dose is half the afternoon-evening doses because I take my SSRI in the AM.

My pdoc says he thinks the combo of SSRI and Buspar might cause some syndrome of sleepiness because of too much serotonin at once. I used to always need a nap an hour after taking Buspar until I figured out how to space it out so there's never too much in my body at once. It has worked like a charm.

Be well,
jflange
