ive been feeling pretty low lately and my doc and >family keep suggesting i consider anti->depressants. however i truly believe this may be >because of my crappy life situation. i haven't >had a drivers license for 2 years, i have no >friends in this new city i moved to a few years >ago, my job sucks, and im going through school >way too slowly. meanwhile my siblings have flown >through college with flying colors. how do i >know if it's true depression or, would things >get better if my life were to change for the >better, which i think it would?
That situation describes me to a T. Although, I tried AD's. They gave me a short term boost and desire to want to change my life situation, but I kept relapsing and needing higher doses, probably because, there wasn't a whole lot I could to to make my life unsuck. For me I think it is just a matter of time, and which way the wind blows.
The only thing I think would make me well is long term financial security.
