> Valium works wonders ...
Do docs still prescribe good, old fashioned, "Mother's Little Helper" Valium? When we were running through the benzos available to help me with GAD/Panic, my pdoc never mentioned Valium. Basically he recommended daily Klonopin, along with Ativan or Xanax for acute anxiety attacks as needed. I tried Ativan -- his preference, as Xanax is highly addictive -- but it didn't agree with my stomach so he's okay with the as-needed Xanax "backup" to my daily Klonopin. But I digress. Does anyone know where Valium fits into the benzo menu? In particular, how does it compare and contrast with Klonopin for long-lasting leveling of GAD symptoms?
