Hi Ed,
Nice to be conversing with you again! (It's also nice to know that at least one person here still remembers me.) I'm back to the medication exploration after a long absence so here I am at Babble again. Before I start on tianeptine, I need to get off of Effexor. I was planning on using Zoloft to help with that. It's probably fine to start tianeptine once I'm off of Effexor and Zoloft for two weeks, don't you think (or do I even need to wait that long)? I have some Zoloft here that expired in 2005. It's from a start-up kit with blister packs so each pill is sealed. I wonder if that would be ok to use or whether I need to get a current prescription. My apartment can get very hot in the summer so the Zoloft has definitely been exposed to high temps. My pharmacist told me that it should be fine, maybe lost some potency but that it can't hurt me. What do you think?
I'll let you know how things go with the tianeptine + doxepin. I will later try to drop the doxepin. If I still need help with anxiety control, then I'll try the atenolol again. If I'm taking atenolol, I shouldn't have any trouble combining it with Zyrtec (cetirizine), should I? It's not listed as a contraindication but I just wanted to make certain that there would be no problems between the two.
Take care and thanks for your help.K
