> http://www.bioedonline.org/news/news.cfm?art=2693Ok, here's my spin on things. Been there, done that and never will again. I have watched countless friends lose their minds on E and not all of them at abusive levels either. It DOES NOT help with anxiety/depression at all, especially if you have a predisposition to anxiety/panic/depression and if you do, it can bring on the worst panic attack you will ever experience. It's a very messy drug and doesn't take long to mess your brain up. I have suffered from depression on and off for years and every time I took E it just bought on another bout which progressively got worse each time.
You ask the question-Why is ecstacy illegal?EASY. Because it destroys peoples lives. For people like us who have mental heath concerns it's just not an option. Please don't entertain the idea about using it, it's just not worth it. It also can bring out episodes in people who never knew they had an underlying problem or even no problem to begin with at all. The information you read on anti drug sites about E is pretty accurate IMO.
It is also EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to mix it with psych meds of any kind. It's not an answer to depression/anxiety, it makes it way worse.
The initial rush might be fun BUT.......
WHAT GOES UP, MUST COME DOWN and if you miss the landing pad, it hurts like bloody hell mate and noone can see the injuries you have done to yourself. Take care and I really hope this was of some help to you. It's just a brutally honest experience of what I went through.
