I'm definitely no expert on MAOI's, but isn't it true that one difference between MAOI-A and MAOI-B inhibition is that A inhibits the enzymes that break down serotonin?
I don't think that one can pinpoint that as being the cause of a side effect, it's just one piece in the puzzle, which may or may not be a factor.
