Well, you know that its pretty hard to get your hands on eithers stims or benzos if you live in the UK? I mean through your GP. Anyway, well that aside...
Stims will likely make you much more anxious. Benzos, well, will probably not do too much in the apathy arena.
However, I think its the lexapro thats the real cause.
You'd be better off either dropping it or adding something like wellbutrin/zyban perhaps. Again, if your GP will even think about prescribing Zyban.
Maybe even apathy is a state of mind (rather than something that can be fixed with chemicals?).
I don't know I'm afraid.
