Thanks Larry. I found out about obstructive sleep apnoea by searching the net I think. No doctor or psych has ever suggested it. Unfortunately there's a 2 year waiting list for sleeping tests in New Zealand. So I brought it up with my Doc who said apnea was a possibility and you can buy for about 85 American $ a plastic suction cap that fits over the tongue, so you go to sleep with your tongue stuck out. Terrible price. There are also compliance problems, like it gives me ulcers and soreness under the tongue and drops out while I'm asleep.
This device is called an AveoTSD and is developed in NZ, although I think it's about to hit the States.
