How depressing! Whether true or false,
I'm glad I am on lithium. It's a relatively
difficult drug to adjust and monitor for the
physician, and very old (Carl Lange of 'Theory of Emotions' first used it),
but it works - no doubt.I don't know if everything that is said by
this camp is true. I read materials like Robert
Whitaker's book, and can't help but feel indignant about this medical area. But then, I never really know whether the problem is the drugs, or the sloppy treatment and lack of understanding in applying them.Squiggles
