5htp added to an antidepressant is dangerous. Serotonin overload = serotonin syndrome = dangerous = feels aweful like you are dying = sometimes death results. It has been done however. But doses have to be small and monitored very closely. 5htp can build up and sneak up on you.

Lamictal can enhance any antidepressant. It can also do the opposite and make some people, like me, feel a lot more depressed than I was to start with.

Best bet, though it sucks, is to change only one thing at a time and give each change a few weeks to determine what is happening before making any other changes.
