The article was from 1974 I believe. Its not advised to take Anafranil with 5-HTP unless your doctor supervises this as this can cause Serotonin Syndrome. The same goes additionally for the combination with Trazodone.
Chlormethiazole is a drug no longer available in the US. Do be careful with it, it causes tolerance quickly and can be dangerous as well. It used to be used for alcohol detoxification here until severe issues were noticed.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlormethiazole
