Hi linkadge
My depression feels like a membrane or skin that shields focus, energy, motivation, concentration, involvment, emotions... you name it!
It's like a lid around my brain or like I am inside this bubble that can not pop, like my mind (brain) is not getting enough air.
When my depression alleviates I get this warm feeling of radiation in the frontal/temporal lobe of my right hemisphere.
I believe one reason to depression could be decreased perfusion of cortical layers of the brain and hence reduced cortical inhibition of CRP (corticotropin-releasing hormone in HPA-axis)
