I've tried desipramine and nortriptyline, which are similar to imipramine except milder. Both of them kind of felt good even on the first day.
The problem I had was severe hypotension. I mean really severe. I was so dizzy I could hardly walk. My heart was just beating like crazy and my blood pressure dropped so low. I didn't mind the dry mouth or the constipation. Overall they felt way too powerful and unhealthy to me in terms of cardio-pulmonary function. And that was just on tiny doses. I am very sensitive.
