> I never hear it talked about on here. I have been diagnosed with anxiety first, then depression. I am currently taking 200mg Seroquel and 3mg Klonopin. My mind races and races, which makes me retreat. Someone suggested Nardil or Imipramine, but they said Imipramine had far less diet restrictions. Anyone with any experiences?

The most noticeable side effect of Imipramine is the dry mouth. Be prepared for you mouth to get very very dry (and no amount of drinking water seems to make it better. I was on it several years ago and it brought me out of a deep depression. It was almost like magic.

That was until I suffered an even worse crisis and in a moment of panic I OD'd and took 40-50 50 mg tabs. The only reason that I'm still alive is that the paramedics got to me just in time (my doc said that if they had arrived just 30 minutes later than they did, I wouldn't be here).

The trycyclics are one of the oldest AD's around and they're also one of the cheapest. But of course, nothing is worth your life, so if you have any suicidal compulsions whatsoever, I'd proceed with extreme caution (your doc will - or should - tell you that).

Good luck!

Malcolm
