> Jay yup she gave me a $25 coupon too. I see the endocrinologist tomorrow and since my thryroid has now become hyper no changes till I see him. And seriously I'm so confused I don't know what I'm going to do. She really lets me do what I want. So maybe luvox? Honestly I just don't know and now she says that the benzos don't work anymore for me and says keeps taking them
?? They don't work but keep taking. I thought you were on Valium for your whole life and it helped in some way and your dose never particularly escalated.
and add seroquel. I'm spinning. Love Jan
Trying a small dose of Seroquel as an adjunct isn't too bad.. it may make the Luvox work better (provided you get up to enough of a dose of it, I don't know where you are.) If you don't want to take the Luvox, then you have to ramp down and cross over to paroxetine (Paxil), which I remembered also suffers from a shorter half life if I recall. Augmentation is frequent with neuroleptics for hard OCD cases.
Hmm... your doctor should have some control over what is going on I would think for her license... but at any rate... I thought you were going along slowly up on the Luvox. Kinda have to stick to one or the other. Paxil is 2nd in line as far as sedating SSRIs. It has a slight reputation as a weight gainer although the amount is not particularly large for most compared to other notorious medications.
