My experience with ADs is very limited, due to unpleasant experiences with other psych drugs and lack of faith in such things generally. The ones I have tried are
Deprenyl
Parnate
Remeron
Moclobemide

So I have never tried an SSRI, and never will because my depression is not bad enough to make putting up with the s/e worthwhile. Anyway, I don't want to feel numb. That's why I've given up methadone.

However I have heard that the subjective effect of tianeptine is not so dissimilar to SSRIs, but with fewer side effects.

Deprenyl, Parnate and tianeptine are ADs I'd take. Bugger Remeron, though I have to say that it's a bit prosexual, at least while you're asleep. Dreadful once you wake up.
