Hey! I took 25mg seroquel + 60 mg cymbalta for a couple of weeks, and the sleepiness became better over time. Then I went up to 90mg cymbalta, and the sleepiness persisted after a month.I added 200mg provigil, and that combination 25mg seroquel + 90mg cym + 200mg provigil pulled me right out of a bad depression. Felt productive, had a really nice summer (lots of international travel, so it was nice to have a sleepy med and a wakey med).
More recently I have been taking 300mg seroquel, and I've had THE HARDEST time waking up for a couple weeks (starting to get better). I think the only thing that saved me from being a complete zombie was that I could manage to put my provigil and a glass of water next to bed every night, and when the alarm rang, I could barely slurp it down, hit snooze half dozen times. Then like magic-- at some point after 30-45 mins of hitting snooze, I'd feel like I could actually open my eyes- felt a little awake- enough to make coffee and then I would be all better.
I take my seroquel at the same time every night (as babble-chatters can attest to!) and then try my hardest to stay out of bed for 30 mins, until I totally CRASH.
Keeping a regular schedule helps. Give it 2 weeks before you think that you need provigil. It's kind of expensive.
