Jan I am so sorry you have these thoughts constantly changing and I know what you mean. One hour I can be in a positive mood and the next feel a deep dark depression coming on, and it can lift within a matter of hours! We are so alike that way.
I do force myself to go outside every day and right now am staying alone (with my 3 dogs) as hubby is at a men's retreat from church. I think distraction is the best thing for me; I wish I could have a job but I get panic stricken at the thought of going for an interview even just for a retail sales position! I might volunteer at our local university hospital but not if the volunteers are all "elderly". I don't fit that description yet I hope.
To make this med related and not get DR. Bob mad, I do think benzos for a long period such as we have been on them, can contribute to agoraphobia; I have read it many times on those anti-benzo forums. LOL, I should stay off them more.
